Andrea born and raised in Chicago, worked at the stadium as a teenager, and I thought the same thing. I’m sure he has done charitable things but, I don’t remember him doing it on this level. Either way, it’s awesome that he did. Before you judge me please understand that I don’t give a fuck what you think. Would you rather he bashed America and free speech while supporting Communists, who imprison opponents to gut them and sell their organs like Lebronn?

Robert Bears He could with his leverage speak or stand up for those who are addressing these ills in society. Now because he is MJ he doesn’t and I respect that. I also respect the Russell’s and LeBron’s who do speak up because their voices are heard. That’s what makes him so classy. He allows people to form their own informed opinions without influence from him. His actions are selfless without drawing attention to himself. The sighn of a gentleman. He could do both. Before you judge me please understand that I don’t give a fuck what you think. His voice would be welcomed by many. Of course, his choice to be silent. He can hide behind his money. As I said, this is a good thing he is doing. Daryl Kirk wrong-you can definitely speak up about your own experiences (as a black man in his case, or whatever your lived experience happens to be) in an articulate, classy way and still be honest. How do we make informed opinions without information?? Imagine if I formed my opinions about racism and prejudice based on only the experiences I’ve had? I’m a white person from a small town that’s very homogenous…do you think I can make my own informed opinions about that? Here’s a hint. Camille Burns I knew I’d find some in these comments and here it is. Stop trying to force ppl to be martyrs. It’s not for everyone. You have been a hero and a credit to your community for as long as I can remember..thank you Mr Jordan.
