Point above, that most public toilets do not have lids. And the lids would be contaminated by the previous flushing. Hmm. Ugh. The question is, how often you clean your lids when you flush with the lids down? Because that layer of germs and bacteria are just within inches of your back if you’re sitting on the potty. but most public toilets do not have lids; I work for a cleaning service and I clean 13 toilets a night 5 days a week. That’s the question or the challenge, can you hold it, at least, until you get home. But given a lot of us work from home these days, it might be a moot point. Dragon That’s what I do I read books I drink tea and I know things poster. This has been known for some time. That’s why you’re supposed to put the lid down when you flush. Nobody does of course, but that’s why. Truth is that the guys at Vice jump at the opportunity(any opportunity) to talk about fecal matter… If it’s my poop, don’t I already have it? So how does this affect me? I don’t flush other people’s poop. Am I missing something? That is why the lid needs to be always done. People do not realize that germs, bacteria, viruses are in the air. It is hard to educate certain people. Most public toilets don’t have lids, I wonder if the oil in products such as poo pouri are heavy enough to keep it from being aerosolized.
