Genesis is a legendary British rock band that has left an indelible mark on the music industry. Formed in 1967 in Godalming, Surrey, the band went on to achieve global success with their unique blend of progressive rock, art rock, and pop sensibilities. The departure of lead vocalist Peter Gabriel in 1975 marked a turning point for the band.
